What a great evening, so well supported by volunteers, trustees and community. Rob Groves the Charity’s CEO gave a review of the successes, achievements and of the project to date, as well as future plans. Representatives of the various projects which run at the park including SS17 BRAs, Men’s Shed, Tech Club and Hardie Gardeners provided an account of the last year and explained how they impact on those involved.

Shane Ralph, Course Co-ordinator for the Footpaths Project explained the effect the course was having on local residents and what benefit the 12 weeks of workshops and volunteering opportunities have had on peoples’ lives. Finally, Russell Godward Chair of the Trustees gave a round-up of the meeting and thanked those who attended and congratulated volunteers and those who had a heart for Hardie.

Cheese and wine during the evening was appreciated by those who attended and Nikki our cafe supervisor did a great job preparing the hospitality.

If you would like to be part of the park as a volunteer or can offer your services as a trustee maybe, please get in touch.
