We’d like to highlight the wonderful work of Friends of Essex & London Homeless who have started a new, much needed Soup Kitchen in Grays this week. We were pleased to be able to pass on donations of food received from the cafe at DP World London Gateway Port and Logisitics Park to help feed these people in their moment of need.
DP World representative visited the park recently to discuss the donation of surplus food from their canteen. The effective re-direction of this food was noted as a challenge however the new Soup Kitchen in Grays is a perfect example of a project currently reaching out to those who need it most.
