Rob Groves had the great pleasure and privilege to receive a cheque on behalf of Friends of Hardie Park for Β£350 from the Rotary Club of Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham on Tuesday at their Annual Presentation Evening.
President Alan King, awarded cheques to 22 local organisations, demostrating the huge contribution that this small club makes to its local community.
Compere and former President, Richard Day, who nominated us for the award said “Friends of Hardie Park are doing a sterling job of reviving community spirit around Hardie Park, their events are always a great day out and the difference I see in the park is tremendous.”
